MITCH GASPARD
After spending six years as the head coach at Northwestern State (2002-2007), as well as serving 10 YRS as a top assistant for former tide coach Jim Wells, (1994-2001), (2008 and 2009); Mitch Gaspard will begin his first season as head coach of the Alabama Baseball program when the tide opens its 2010 schedule versus South Alabama on Saturday @ 2 PM at Sewell-Thomas Stadium in Tuscaloosa. It is expected that Sophomore pitcher Adam Morgan will start on opening day for the tide. The audio broadcast can be heard in the Birmingham\Tuscaloosa area on 95.3 FM ''THE BEAR''.
