THE ALABAMA BASEBALL TEAM is currently ranked 27TH in THE NBWA TOP 30 POLL that was released Monday afternoon... Alabama is receiving votes in the other 4 major polls but is only ranked in the NBWA POLL. (NATIONAL BASEBALL WRITERS ASSOCIATION) POLL. The tide will now prepare to travel to Regions Park to take on SEC rival GEORGIA in a regular season game that is not sanction by THE SOUTHEASTERN CONFERENCE and will not count in the conference standings. The contest originally scheduled for March 2ND against in-state rival SAMFORD has been rescheduled for Wednesday, May 12 in Birmingham.
